Improving the Quality of Healthcare in Tanzania:
Opportunities and Challenges for Physicians
Taking place in-person in Dar es salaam, Tanzania, May 2-3rd, PHYSCON 2024 offers a great opportunity for sharing knowledge and research findings. Submitting an abstract helps you connect with colleagues with similar interests and helps drive patient care for the people that we serve. All accepted abstracts will be published in our own journal, “The Physician” as an inaugural issue. Outstanding abstracts submitted by in-training members are also eligible for abstract awards.
The deadline for submission is April 15th, 2024, at midnight EAT.

Submission
All abstracts must be submitted by the deadline of 4th April 2024. After submission you receive an email confirming your submission.
Review
There will be peer review of all abstracts. Notification of accepted abstracts will be sent via email by 15th April 2024.
The deadline for submission is April 15th, 2024, at midnight EAT.
General information
- Abstract format should include: Background, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusion.
- For case reports: Background, case presentation and conclusion.
- There is no submission fee, however presenters with accepted abstract must register to the conference by 20th April 2024.
- All abstracts must be submitted electronically via this platform
- All abstracts must be in English
- The maximum number of characters allowed is 2000
- The addition of figure or table deducts 600 characters
- Please select whether you prefer oral or poster presentation, however the final decision of the mode of presentation will be made by the scientific committee
- Please indicate the name of the presenting author by putting a * marks against the name
